This is a fangame paying homage to the games and world of the Touhou Project game series, created by ZUN. I am not affiliated with ZUN in any way. Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, and the setting of Gensokyo are all ZUN's property; all other characters are created by me and should not be considered part of the official Touhou canon.

SETUP
Luminous Dream uses the Touhou Danmakufu engine. To play the game, run th_dnh.exe - you must be in the Japanese locale to run it, so either change the language settings on your computer or use Applocale.

To play the game, select Stage from the main menu, and pick one of the top options, depending on your desired difficulty level. Below that are options to practice invdividual stages. To practice individual Spell Cards, select Single from the main menu for a complete listing. To practice individual boss battles, go to Plural.

STORY
The Hakurei Shrine. The place that stands at the border of our world and Gensokyo, and home of the shrine maiden Reimu Hakurei. One spring morning, sunrise failed to come. For reasons unknown, Gensokyo seemed to have been cast into supernatural darkness. Suspecting the work of some nefarious youkai was behind the occurrance, Reimu headed out to investigate, but in the darkness, she quickly became lost...

The Forest of Magic. Home to many mysterious creatures, and also the ordinary magician Marisa Kirisame. Preparations for the party to break in her new stash of sake complete, today was going to be a big day for her... or it would be, if it came at all. When the sun failed to rise, Marisa sprung into action at once. Her plan: Find the Hakurei Shrine and harass Reimu into taking care of it for her. However, finding the shrine maiden may prove more difficult than solving the incident herself...
